Often with difficulty.. I think that given a view from above the dominant white wing pattern terminating in a a dor is more sharply angular in C eriosema whereas I suggest its more of a smooth curve in C. subsidens. Also C. subsidens tends to be more grey and black wheraeas C. sunsidens is mostly brown often with greenish or coppery sheen.
