Associated record of probably the same individual, in exactly the same spot a week later. Intellagama lesueurii lesueurii (Eastern Water Dragon)

Confirmed @DonFletcher . This is the same animal (Jim was the other Venturer leader). I think I need to double check the time settings on my D-SLR, as I use the phone to get the GPS tag, but the D-SLR where I can to get the better shots.

Thanks for the advice on the photography of the face. I'll keep that in mind, and pass it on to the two venturers who were with us at our weekly meeting.

Hi @DonFletcher
We were there at the same time, that’s for sure.
This is definitely one and the same animal.
Not sure how the time difference came about. I used my phone, @VanceLawrence had a DSLR camera and phone. My timestamp should be accurate straight off the phone with GPS.

Hi @VanceLawrence and @wombey, This same goanna was recorded in the same spot half an hour later (Lomandra and yellow stone visible in photos) by @JimL Varanus rosenbergi (Heath or Rosenberg's Monitor)#

JimL knew to take photos of the left and right faces, from which the different individuals can be identified. By comparing your 4th photo and his 2nd photo, we can see the goanna's right face is the same in both reports.
