Matthew, you are not far from where I have recorded Litoria watsoni (Monga State Forest and Tianjara Falls) in the distant past and at first glance they could be mistaken for peronii. The hidden colours in the thigh and arm pits are the diagnostic clue so I just thought I should draw your attention to this and for you to try and get a sneak peak and shot of these colours whenever possible so either species can be ruled out. Happy this one is peronii but always worth bearing in mind. The hidden colours for watsoni are bright orange and they have a curry smell if handled. Cheers John W
